- - Fast service 2-4 working days (not 4-6 weeks)
- - Resealing of your watch
What is the difference between resealing your watch and water testing?
When a battery is changed in your rado watch, we apply a special silicon grease,
which prevents water entering from the back case of your rado watch.
In most cases this is enough to allow you to wear your watch while washing your hands or accidental splashes, however there is no guarantee for water resistance
as there are many seals on the glass and crown in which water may penetrate
through. An simple example is when a front windscreen seal is changed in your car,
this will prevent water coming in through the front windscreen, however your side
windows, or rear windscreen seals may require changing to prevent water entering
your car at all.
If you require full water resistant testing than an additional charge will be applied
and all seals will be replaced. This is usually only advised when a watch is serviced
at the same time the seals are changed. Please email us if you have any more
questions or enquiries.
